Job Description Summary:

Responsible for the safe operation and maintenance of community vehicles and the safe transportation of residents.

• Consistently and genuinely demonstrate the HEROES principles of HELPFUL, ENGAGED, RESPONSIVE, OUTSTANDING, EXCELLENCE and SUCCESS in all activities and interactions.
• Drive residents to appropriate destinations.
• Provide excellent customer service while achieving or exceeding the company’s goals and objectives.
• Complete vehicle maintenance logs in order to ensure safe transportation for community.
• Fuel vehicles as needed keeping accurate fuel and maintenance records.
• Maintain appearance of the interior and exterior of vehicle.
• Assist residents as needed in and out of vehicles, ensuring safety at all times.
• Provide individual service support to residents such as assistance with packages, groceries, etc.
• Assist all departments with other duties as needed and/or assigned by your supervisor.
• Provide transportation for multiple communities, splitting duties as needed or assigned.
• Communicate any identified resident concerns/issues to the Resident Services Coordinator or site-specific Property Manager in a timely manner.
• Operate vehicles in compliance with all applicable safety and local jurisdiction regulations.
• Operate vehicles appropriately with respect to driving conditions such as associated with inclement weather.
• Schedule transportation efficiently in order to maximize availability of service to residents.
• Maintain vehicles in the safest possible operating order with strict adherence to preventive maintenance guidelines.
• Participate in and attend all required in-service training sessions.
• Ability to access all areas of the community.
• Other duties as assigned.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND TALENTS:
• Have served at least one year of experience in a customer service-oriented role.

Be at least 21 years of age at the time of employment.

Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities.
• Strong customer orientation to older adults for positions at Senior Housing Communities.
• Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with all associates.
• Positive attitude, enthusiasm and energy.
• Ability to communicate, comprehend, read, and write in English.
• High School Diploma or G.E.D.
• Possess proficient navigational skills.
Possess and maintain a valid in-state driver’s license and clean driving record with no points.
• Complete annual medical and vision evaluation and secure certification in compliance with DOT guidelines.

  • The base hourly rate for this role is between $19.00-$21.00/hour depending on level of skills and experience.

  • The hourly range for this position is represented by the low and high end of the range for the amount to be paid for the position. Salaries paid at Enterprise will vary based on factors that may include skills, education, location, experience, and performance. The salary range is just a part of the total rewards package provided to employees at Enterprise, and other rewards may include annual performance bonuses and generous paid leave programs.
