Job Description Summary

This role ensures that resident services are not just supportive—but transformational—by unlocking the strengths of individuals, teams, and shaping communities where residents can thrive.The Senior Vice President, Community Impact (Resident Services) is a visionary, strategic executive leader who cultivates environments where residents and team members can thrive. They are responsible for advancing Enterprises mission to create empowering, resident-driven communities through the work and experience at ECD. This role oversees the strategy, design, execution, and evaluation of comprehensive resident services across the ECD portfolio and leads the “Deliver Supportive Services” and Co-leads the “Strengthening Residents Ability to Afford Housing” priorities for Enterprise Community Partners, our National Platform.
As a member of the ECD Stewardship Team and the Enterprise Strategic Leadership Team, this leader champions a culture where individuals, teams, and communities are empowered to maximize their natural talents in service of collective impact. Serving over 30,000 residents across the ECD portfolio of 100+ properties, this leader ensures programs are innovative, impactful, and are scalable for national Implementation and Support through our Solutions Division.
The SVP position requires strategic leadership with strong execution capability, program design, innovation, and evaluation expertise; financial acumen and budget management, fundraising and partnership development, exceptional communication and influencing skills, high emotional intelligence and cultural competency, and strong analytical and decision-making skills. They must have proven ability to coach and develop others by identifying and cultivating strengths.
Job Description
Set the vision and strategy for resident services across ECD’s portfolio; translate strategy into annual priorities, OKRs, and scalable program models.
Lead program design, delivery, and continuous improvement using resident input and data-driven evaluation frameworks (qualitative and quantitative).
In collaboration with Enterprise’s Impact and Evaluation team, implement evaluation systems that capture qualitative, quantitative, and process outcomes at ECD and for Enterprise National programs
Build and lead a high-performing team; drive talent development, accountability, and an inclusive, strengths-based culture.
Manage an $8M+ operating budget (growing to $10–12M) and oversee resource allocation across 100+ property-level budgets.
Secure and steward $2M+ annually in philanthropic funding in partnership with Resource Development and Communications; cultivate funders and community partners.
Partner cross-functionally with Real Estate Development, Property Management, Solutions, and Capital to align services, operations, and innovation.
Represent ECD/Enterprise externally; advise senior leadership and present outcomes to executives and the Board. Serve as a resident-voice ambassador in national and regional forums
Ensure regulatory compliance (including HIPAA where applicable).
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in social services, sociology, psychology, or related field required. Master’s degree preferred.
15+ years of progressive experience in resident services, community development, human services, or a related field.
5+ years leading at the executive level, including managing senior leaders and building high performing teams.
Demonstrated success leading large-scale, high impact programs, strong evaluation and learning orientation.
Strong financial acumen, including budgeting and resource allocation across multiple sites/programs.
Fundraising and partnership development experience; ability to influence funders and stakeholders.
Excellent communication, executive presence, and ability to present to senior leaders and boards.
High emotional intelligence, cultural competency, and demonstrated commitment to equity and resident voice.
Salary Transparency:
You will be joining a team of talented professionals motivated by serving the community and addressing the need for affordable housing.
Enterprise offers a comprehensive total rewards package for you and your family. The base salary range for this position is $260,000/year– $280,000/year. The salary range represents the low and high end of what may be paid for this position. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the pay range, and compensation decisions may be influenced by a variety of factors, including skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
