How You Will Contribute
- Prepare and record journal entries with appropriate support and documentation
- Perform monthly account reconciliations and investigate variances
- Assist with month-end and year-end close activities
- Maintain accurate general ledger records in accordance with internal controls
• AI & Automation
◦ Use AI tools (e.g., Claude, Copilot) to draft, review, and streamline accounting tasks such as:
◦ Identify repetitive workflows and partner with senior team members to automate them
◦ Document automated processes and maintain clear audit trails
• Reporting & Audit Support
◦ Assist in preparing internal financial reports and schedules
◦ Support audit requests by compiling schedules and documentation
• Continuous Improvement
◦ Identify process gaps and raise improvement ideas to the team
◦ Participate in testing and adopting new tools or system enhancements
What You Will Bring
◦ Genuine interest in AI and automation — you’ve experimented with these tools and see them as force multipliers
◦ Exposure to or interest in automation tools such as Power Automate, Python, or Excel macros
◦ Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
◦ Ability to follow processes, meet deadlines, and document work clearly
Standout Candidates Will Bring
◦ 1–2 years of accounting experience (internships and entry-level roles count)
◦ Foundational understanding of accounting principles and the general ledger
◦ Experience with an ERP system (e.g., Sage Intacct, NetSuite, Oracle)
◦ Experience with Snowflake or other data warehouse/analytics platforms
75000 - 110000 USD a year
For this role, the anticipated base salary range is $75,000-$110,000 per year. This role may also be eligible for additional bonus compensation designed to align total compensation with an employee’s overall contribution to the organization.
