Stand Together is a philanthropic community that helps America’s boldest changemakers tackle the root causes of our country’s biggest problems, from education to the economy, broken communities, and toxic division, among dozens of other pressing issues. We provide our partners with access to resources including funding, thought leadership, a network of peers, and a playbook for applying proven principles to transform lives and society.

Are you energized by bringing precision, organization, and disciplined execution to complex work? As a Partnership Success Associate, you will serve as the portfolio operations and production engine for a team that works with leading business and philanthropic partners. You will ensure the details, data, materials, and recurring workflows behind donor engagement are accurate, organized, prepared early, and completed consistently.

Working closely with Partnership Success Managers and Partnership Advisors, you will own the day-to-day ‘do/build/update’ layer of portfolio work — from Salesforce hygiene and financial tracking to meeting materials, stewardship production, visit preparation, recurring communications, and task management. Your work will help the team deliver a high-quality partner experience while ensuring nothing falls through the cracks because of administrative or production gaps.

Location: Arlington, Virginia

How You Will Contribute

  • Own core portfolio operations and recurring workflows, ensuring donor-facing teams have accurate, current information and the materials they need to focus on strategy and relationships.
  • Maintain Salesforce data quality and hygiene, including donor and prospect records, activity, opportunities, next steps, tasks, and other portfolio information so data is current, reliable, and easy to use.
  • Support financial tracking, forecasting inputs, contribution records, reports, donor lists, and other portfolio tools that give the team clear visibility into activity and progress.
  • Prepare and assemble meeting materials, collateral, briefing inputs, stewardship products, proposals, and other donor-facing materials; coordinate inputs, manage versions, and ensure materials are complete and prepared early.
  • Support donor meetings, visits, and events by coordinating schedules, logistics, materials, briefing inputs, and day-of execution needs.
  • Execute recurring communications and portfolio processes consistently and without prompting, including routine follow-ups, reminders, updates, and stewardship production support.
  • Track action items, deadlines, and dependencies across the portfolio, maintain clear visibility into task status for Partnership Success Managers, and proactively flag risks or gaps before they affect execution.
  • Maintain portfolio tools, repositories, trackers, and shared resources so information is organized, accessible, and dependable.
  • Partner across proposal development, events, communications, finance, legal, and other capabilities to collect inputs and keep work moving efficiently.
  • Apply strong quality control and process discipline to reduce errors, rework, missed deadlines, and administrative gaps while continually improving the speed and reliability of recurring work.

What You Will Bring

  • 2+ years of experience in fundraising/development, project coordination, operations, account support, customer success, sales support, or a related field.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a strong commitment to precision, with a track record of producing accurate, polished work in a fast-moving environment.
  • Strong organization and task-management skills, including the ability to manage multiple deadlines, recurring processes, and competing priorities without losing visibility into the details.
  • A proactive, ownership-oriented mindset — you anticipate needs, follow through without repeated prompting, and make it easy for others to understand what is complete, pending, or at risk.
  • A bias toward efficient execution, with the judgment to move work forward quickly while maintaining accuracy and quality.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, professionalism, and the ability to collaborate effectively with multiple internal stakeholders.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products and comfort working in CRM and workflow systems, such as Salesforce.
  • Sound judgment, discretion, and a commitment to creating a world-class experience for donor partners through dependable behind-the-scenes execution.
  • Enthusiasm to contribute to Stand Together's vision and principled approach to solving problems, and a commitment to stewarding our culture, which champions values including transformation and innovation, entrepreneurialism, humility, and respect.

Standout Candidates Will Bring

  • Experience supporting a donor portfolio, fundraising team, sales team, account-management function, or other relationship-based portfolio.
  • Hands-on Salesforce experience, including data hygiene, reporting, activity tracking, opportunity management, and task management.
  • Experience producing donor or client materials, stewardship products, proposals, reports, briefings, or executive meeting materials.
  • Experience supporting events, donor visits, or other high-touch engagements where preparation, coordination, and day-of execution are critical.
  • A demonstrated ability to improve recurring workflows, create simple systems, reduce errors or rework, and make team operations more reliable.
