Donor Membership Director
Abundance Network
Overview
Abundance is happening. Abundance Network has more demand than we can capture because we haven’t designed and built systems for scale. We are recruiting an executive to build and own our donor membership program.
Our broad-based and recurring donor membership network is relatively unique in American politics. You will be building and scaling a community based on a shared civic responsibility to renovate our public institutions for the 21st century.
The donor network is critical to scaling the Abundance movement broadly. Our 1.0 donor membership program was the foundation of the Abundance Network, aggregating human, social, and financial capital, predominantly in the Bay Area, and generating $1M in recurring annual contributions. Members joined and renewed for a mix of learning, community, and impact. The Donor Membership Director will design and build the 2.0 version of this program, with a goal over the next 3 years of scaling to 1,000 members across the country and to $10M in recurring annual contributions.
This is not a traditional fundraising role. We are looking for a humble, curious, and outcomes-focused leader with a hands-on ownership mentality to design and execute the future vision of this critical program powering the Abundance movement. The right candidate will have a proven track record of growing revenue (and have owned revenue targets), designing effective systems and processes for managing 1,000+ relationships, and building trust with a diversity of stakeholders. And of course, we are looking for someone who shares our excitement for the Abundance movement.
